Return to Dust
Every ending sparks a new beginning. Return To Dust embodies the sound of shedding the weight of the past while embracing the promise of tomorrow. The Los Angeles-based quartet—Matty Bielawski [guitar, vocals], Graham Stanush [bass, vocals], Sebastian Gonzalez [guitar], and London Hudson [drums]— brings a fresh perspective to alternative rock. Their music fuses powerful harmonies, fuzz-laden riffs, and seismic grooves, fueled by the raw energy of four Gen Z friends jamming in a garage. What may seem like a traditional approach on paper feels like an act of rebellion today, heralding the rise of the next generation of rock music. “Our name rings true to the sound, lyrics, and heavy imagery,” Matty observes. “You started out as dust and, one day, you will become dust again. So, you’re attempting to find meaning in the chaos of life and death, which is what we try to do through music.”
Sons of No One
with Mono in Stereo MONO IN STEREO is an Omaha-based Power-Pop, Pub-Rock quartet serving up a rollicking set of Northern Soul-inspired originals. The band is led by singer/guitarist/songwriter Charles McNeil – a survivor of the LA ‘80s Hair Metal Scene, and most recently Brian Jones Was Murdered. He’s joined by bassist Marty Amsler of ’90s Nebraska breakout band The Millions, New Orleans transplant blues guitarist James MacDougall, and the newcomer Joe Eickoff formerly of The End in Red on Drums.
The Dirty Nil
with Grumpster and Bug Bath If there’s one rule people should follow when approaching the DIRTY NIL, it’s this: Never tell them how to rock‘n’roll. Ontario’s Juno Award winning trio is a finely tuned rock machine that is at its best when the members are pursuing their penchant for thrashy riffs, bashed out drums, and levels-to-the-max volume. And on their fourth album, Free Rein to Passions, the band followed their instincts down to the note to produce their most authentic work to date. *** GRUMPSTER is a garage punk band from Oakland, California. The group consists of Donnie Walsh (he/him) on bass and vocals, Noel Agante (he/him) on drums and Lalo Gonzalez Deetz (he/him) on guitar. *** “BUG BATH is big guitar music from Reno, Nevada. Taking cues from bands like Archers of Loaf and Superdrag, to Jimmy Eat World and Teenage Fanclub; BUG BATH takes a noisy and feedback laden wall-of-sound approach to the grey area between emo, power-pop, indie-rock, and hardcore. Formed as trio in 2018, the group now performs as a revolving door sextet, drawing in players from across the west-coast DIY community. Their debut album “(bug bath)” was released august of 2022 on their own label, Egg Wash Recordings. In 2023 BUG BATH began working with underground metal and experimental taste-making label Transylvanian Recordings to release their 2024 EP, “World of Fools”. BUG BATH has toured with Absinthe Father, Just Friends, and Sun Spots; and shared the stage with Jimmy Eat World, Yellowcard, Mom Jeans., Mannequin Pussy, Angel Du$t, Tony Molina, Scowl, and countless others.”
The Surfrajettes
The Surfrajettes are a four-piece instrumental combo from Toronto, ON, Canada. Since forming in late 2015, the band has charmed audiences with their clever mix of psychedelic rock and reverb-drenched surf music, sky-high beehives, go-go boots, and eyeliner as thick as their guitar strings.
