The Toxhards

A cult band in the making, The Toxhards bring a chaotic shot of adrenaline with their rousing live performances and genre-bending songs. With 8-foot-tall pig suits, t-shirt tosses, AirDropping unreleased demos from the stage, constant instrument swapping, and free coffee, The Toxhards have built a rapidly growing and devoted fanbase – many of whom attend shows cosplaying as characters from the band’s eclectic catalog such as “Ængus, The Prize-Winning Hog,” “Satan’s Little Hell Song,” “Beatrice,” “Doombop!” and “Get Creative! Virtua dx

Emerging from the East Coast US city of Baltimore, Maryland, Virtua dx (@virtuadx) have already carved out something of a cult following after the release of their colourful, dance-influenced shoegaze album Guitarpop Forever in mid-2025. With a DIY production style and engrossing mixes of nostalgic samples alongside raw guitars, there’s a charm to the band’s music that few in the US shoegaze underground can replicate. The band is deeply committed to pouring everything into their art. Smile Empty Soul

SMILE EMPTY SOUL is a hard rock band that originated in Los Angeles, CA in the late 1990’s and has stayed true to their brand of “no bullshit”, “real as it gets” hard rock to this day. The band signed a major label record deal in 2003 to release their self-titled debut album in May of that year. They realized huge success at alternative radio, rock radio, and the music video channels that have since fallen by the wayside or turned into reality show networks. After 3 very successful singles/videos, and a gold record from the debut release, the band ran into trouble with their record company (which was in the midst of turmoil at the top levels) and found themselves working extra hard in the trenches, and signed to indie labels from then on. This would become SMILE EMPTY SOUL’ s destiny, as they have gone on to release many more albums on various labels, with their new single “dead inside” coming in Oct of 2025. The band has become known for its constant touring and never wavering honest sound/lyrics. They’ve never changed for anybody, and turned down many opportunities to “sell out” because it’s not who they are. Now, with the debut release being over 22 years ago, and the band still going just as strong as ever, SMILE EMPTY SOUL seems to have established itself as one of the defining underground rock bands of its generation.

Johnny Manchild and The Poor Bastards

JOHNNY MANCHILD “There’s a mad genius living in Oklahoma City who possesses the manic drive of a classical composer”… “A creative tour de force”… “Theater kids and pop-punk aficionados, gather ‘round.”  Since 2016, Johnny Manchild has led an ever-evolving lineup, affectionately dubbed the Poor Bastards, in the pursuit of conveying the noise in his head. A noise that gets louder everyday, and is never quite the same with each iteration.  Amassing over 400,000 listeners over the last decade, collaborating with Adrian Young and Todd Foreman of No Doubt and Sublime respectively,  performing alongside the Dresden Dolls, and independently assembling a 48 show, six week tour of house shows for over 3000 ravenous attendees (hosted by equally ravenous fans themselves), Johnny Manchild has broken down every conventional method in this pursuit of creating and exposing his music.  With five albums under his belt, and his new self-produced album, “Side Effects” slated for 2026, Johnny Manchild has shown no sides of resting until the noise subsides; though the odds of that happening anytime soon are growing smaller everyday.   FRIEND OF A FRIEND   Friend of a Friend formed in the summer of 2020 after a lifetime just missing each other. Since their 2022 debut release, they’ve toured relentlessly throughout Europe and North America. FOAF has released 3 records in the last 3 years, been featured in SPIN Magazine, named an artist to watch by Rolling Stone, an “American Visionary Duo” by Mesmerized, an “indie rock band taking the scene by storm” by Wonderland Magazine.   KARMA AND THE KILLJOYS Karma and the Killjoys is classical piano turned rock band. Loud key-smashing chords dueling with gritty electric guitar, powerful, raw female voices and a thick chorus of harmonies is the strange and compelling concoction the band calls piano-rock. Ever pushing the bounds of what that means, Karma and the Killjoys expand their musicality with every song, both embracing and defying the genre–and therefore defining it.  Karma and the Killjoys is Rain Scott-Catoire (piano, vocals, songwriting), Sydni Myers (vocals, songwriting), Thomas Vercher (drums), and Tim Marchand (guitar).
