Public Figure was formed in February of 2019 by bassist Dolan Delano along with some of his good friends. After a few personnel changes Public Figure curated their final lineup in February of 2024. This consisted of adding drummer John Faist and guitar player Robert (RJ) Klingsporn. These two were long time bandmates together in another Omaha based band. Lastly they found Roger Slatten via a Reddit post on r/Omaha titled "Where my singers at?". One week before their first show with the new lineup Roger's house (the bands practice space) was hit by and EF-4 tornado while Roger was home, nearly claiming his life. The band came together closer than ever and played the show the next week despite the odds. Since then they have had the opportunity to tour across the country in over 18 states. Sharing the stage with acts such as Fuel, Boys Like Girls, Good Terms, and Out in Front. They have no plans of slowing down and continue to tour and build their base all as far as they can reach. --- CAPTURE THIS HAS CAPTURED HEARTS AND MINDS ALL OVER THE WORLD WITH THEIR RELATABLE AND AUTHENTIC LYRICS, ENCOURAGING EVERYONE TO BE THEIR BEAUTIFUL, VULNERABLE SELVES. “WE WRITE ABOUT REAL-LIFE EVENTS THAT STEM AROUND HEARTACHE, LOVE, SELF-GROWTH AND EMPOWERMENT. “MUSICALLY WE TAKE PIECES OF SONGS FROM SOME OF OUR FAVORITE ARTISTS AND TRY TO RECREATE IT WITH OUR OWN POP PUNK STYLE.” TAKING INSPIRATION FROM ARTISTS SUCH AS DEMI LOVATO, MAYDAY PARADE, PARAMORE AND EVANESCENCE THE BAND WEAVES LIFE AND EMOTION INTO THEIR TAPESTRIES OF MELODY WITH A LOVE RARELY VIEWED ANYWHERE ELSE ON THE ROCK SCENE.
Historically, Manchester, UK breeds a certain toughness. As a pillar of the 19th century Industrial Revolution in Northern England, factories and warehouses line much of the city’s rain-baptized topography. A hardworking lot who shoot straight without apology, its denizens traditionally take an incredible amount of pride in where they come from. Embodying the grit and gusto of Manchester, Guilt Trip bring a blast of homegrown intensity to their hybrid of hardcore and metal. The five piece—Jay Valentine [vocals], Jak Maden [guitar], Sam Baker [guitar], Tom Aimson [drums], and Lily Kilcoyne [bass]—slide striking melodies in between throat-slitting thrashy riffs and earth-splitting breakdowns. Amassing tens of millions of streams and playing to packed crowds, they’re primed to amplify this hometown energy and pride on a global scale with a series of 2025 singles and their forthcoming debut LP for Roadrunner Records. “It’s subconscious,” agrees Jak. “Manchester is the hardest working city in the world. It’s where the ‘Manchester Bee’ comes from. Like worker bees, everyone works their asses off, and they don’t necessarily get rewarded for it. If you’re from London, you’re on the map instantly and probably know someone in the industry. When you’re from up North, nobody pays attention, so you’ve got to be legit and stick to your roots. We worked for ten years to get to where we are now.” Guilt Trip started to forge a seething signature style without comparison back in 2015. Jay and Jak cemented a lifelong bond as best friends at four-years-old when they met at reception in school. Over the years, the guys introduced one another to various favorite bands. Eventually, they welcomed fellow Manchester scene friends Tom, Sam, and Lily to the fold. To get to this point, the collective grinded the old-fashioned way one gig at a time, bulldozing their way out of sweaty basements and onto cramped club stages. They dropped the Unrelenting Force EP during 2016 followed by their 2019 full-length debut, River of Lies. The latter spawned “Thin Ice,” which reeled in 7.1 million Spotify streams and counting. Beyond sharing the stage with everyone from Sylosis to While She Sleeps, they lit up festivals, including Download, Hellfest, and more. Attracting Roadrunner Records to their corner, the musicians decamped to StudioOWZ in Clarbeston Wales with producer and engineer Adam “Nolly” Getgood [Periphery] during early 2025. Nodding to influences as diverse as Tool and Linkin Park, the sound organically progressed in the studio. Speaking of, the first single “Burn” practically incinerates upon impact. A double bass barrage charges out of the gate accented by a guttural groove riff and jarring pinch harmonics. The chaos unexpectedly subsides into the calm of tense clean guitar and a whispered chant, “Burn inside the fire.” The reprieve gives way to one last cathartic explosion. In the end, the members are just as proud of Guilt Trip as they are of Manchester. “I go to bed thinking of this band, and I wake up thinking about it,” laughs Jak. “If I bled out to death, I think my blood would leave the Guilt Trip logo on the ground.”

Accessory is the Chicago-based solo project of Jason Balla (mem. of Dehd). Their debut album— DUST— confirms Balla as a new voice in experimental pop. He crafts an intimate sculpture of guitar feedback, electronic manipulation and everyday poetry, straddling the line between the digital and the organic. The songs are a constellation of misconnection, desire and the search for certainty in a reality dominated by distraction and defeatism. At a time trending toward AI gloss, Balla employs the dadaist tradition of random chance to incorporate human imperfection and unpredictability into his work. The result? Songs that live and breathe, marked with the fingerprints of process and shaped by emotional undercurrents that flow beneath a calm surface.

In the years since, the Western Massachusetts based singer/producer has made a career of self-releasing music and videos, unpolished & posted in near real time. LUCY's captivating live performance has earned him a cult following on the DIY circuit, playing shows in basements and warehouses across the country. His music is experimental and raw – at times even abrasive. His GarageBand-based production has never swayed far from the sample packs and synth sounds he started writing music with 14 years ago. Aggressively prolific, Handy has amassed an extensive catalogue that is both eccentric and earnest.
Graham Hunt can’t stop making records. Since 2019, the Madison, WI-based songwriter has been amassing a dense catalog of singular music at a pace rivaled only by the quality of the output itself. Now already on his sixth album, American Pyramid, Hunt pushed himself out of his comfort zones, eschewing the homespun, computer-oriented explorations of his previous work and instead entering Minnesota's legendary Pachyderm Studio with an eight-piece band to try and capture a different side of his boundless creativity. The result is an album that stretches out musically and lyrically, with Hunt using his surrealist spin to dissect both the traditions of American indie rock as well as the unnerving detachment of the American experience itself. American Pyramid arrives barely a year after Hunt’s 2025 album, Timeless World Forever, the final release in a trilogy of records and a capstone on a significant part of his life. “I knew I was going to be moving from this house where the home studio is, so I gave myself the limitation of making those three albums that specific way, and then I knew I’d do something different,” he explains. “Part of me felt like I could live in that house and make an infinite amount of records there with the same process forever, but for a long time I’d also had this vision for tracking an album live with a band in a studio–I knew that’s how I wanted to make the next record even before I wrote any songs for it.” Hunt’s innate creative restlessness has always served him well but it wasn’t enough to simply record the songs with a group rather than alone: he even self-imposed limitations on the writing process itself, choosing to avoid demoing on the computer or even fleshing out the songs beyond simple iphone voice memos. “I wanted to keep it to just chords and melody and then figure out the rest with a group of people in a live room studio setting, I just hadn't done it like that in a very long time.” And this would be no ordinary live band, instead a group of eight fellow multi-instrumentalists, each an impressive creative in their own right, all assembled to help Hunt see his vision through. “I was thinking about all the people who have played in my band in all its different iterations over the years, and I just wanted to try and get as many of them involved as possible,” he explains. “We only did two rehearsals before we went into the studio and everyone ended up swapping instruments and changing roles throughout recording. That sort of helped to recreate some of the feeling of what I do when I’m making music with the computer, but executed with a full band.” --- Minneapolis’ Prize Horse make “a fuzzy, dreamy form of alt-rock that manages to be heavy and spaced-out at the same time” (Stereogum). The trio’s debut album, Under Sound, embarks their musical evolution which takes flight with ethereal, fuzz-laden tones departing from the grittier layers of their previous 2021 Welder EP.

Formed in 1986, Exhorder’s journey has proven exciting, yet tumultuous. Fraught with euphoric peaks and crippling valleys throughout its existence, the band debuted that summer with the do-it-yourself demo recording, “Get Rude”. Swiftly building a strong local following in the New Orleans punk rock scene, Exhorder entered a legitimate 24 track studio in 1987 and crafted their controversial classic demo, “Slaughter In The Vatican”. However, as fate would have it, the band broke up for the first time in early 1988 due to internal struggles. A reformation ensued later that year, and Exhorder set out once again to pursue its vision. The band soon signed with Mean Machine Records, but the label dissolved before the band’s debut could be completed. Following a series of lineup shifts, a second full-length entitled “The Law”, and multiple hiatuses, the band finally relaunched itself in 2017. In the years that followed the relaunch of the band, Exhorder has toured extensively in both the United States and Europe. The reputation the band has carried as a force onstage continues to grow. With a new release in association with Nuclear Blast completed and was released in 2024, Exhorder are plotting another busy year performing worldwide.https://www.exhorder.com/ No/Más - hardcore / crust / grindcore from DC Phantom (Phantom G.D.L) is a young band from Guadalajara, Mexico, that has quickly established itself as one of the most solid and promising acts in Latin American metal.
Letdown. is ready to embrace the positive. The Texas-born, Nashville-based alt-rocker, singer, and multi-instrumentalist has tackled a slew of personal demons—many of which turned up on his catharsis-packed debut EP, 2023’s Crying In The Shower—in order to come out on the other side, stronger than ever. The prolific artist’s latest batch of songs, which he is constantly churning out as a therapeutic way to process daily life, are upbeat, hook-packed anthems that invite audiences to shout along in unison. “I think I'm at the end of writing about my problems,” Coddington muses. “I've been putting myself through emotional music therapy for three years now, and it's working. I'm finally looking back and laughing for the first time. I consider it the upswing of the depression. I'm about to enter this whole new phase in my life. Everything feels new again for the first time.” Ever since he first began releasing music in 2020, Letdown. (real name Blake Coddington) has poured his soul into crafting soaring rock anthems that vulnerably chronicle his mental health journey and sonically intersect with punk/emo, electronic, and pop. Posting a series of unguarded videos to TikTok, Letdown. has seen his following grow to more than 675K, nearly 1M monthly listeners on Spotify, and over 100K on Instagram—not even counting the 200M total streams his songs have earned. This growing popularity has led to extensive nationwide and European touring, allowing Letdown. to connect with fans across the globe. “That's the greatest part of this,” Coddington says of his more buoyant direction. “We're all dancing around the studio. It's the most natural writing I've ever done…” The song “Hate Myself”—his collaboration with producer Carlo—became his second Top 25 single at Alternative radio, signaling his rising profile and the impact of his emotionally honest songwriting. He continues to unpack tough emotions in tracks like: “Be Ok” (featuring LØLØ) – written near the end of a serious, unhealthy relationship. “Dead Right” – a fun, catchy tune created without overthinking. “Crying In The Shower” – a Top 20 hit detailing heartbreak, fleeting highs, and emotional numbness. “Go To Hell” – a defiant, crowd-moving anthem about the painful complexity of leaving an abusive partner. “Young Broke (2025)” – a self-reflecting song about the reality of his life, and his future If anything unites Letdown.’s debut album, it’s his ability to mix audible joy with emotional darkness, creating cathartic, uplifting music that turns hardship into healing. “The music I'm writing currently has been a lot more fun than it ever has been, and a lot less depressing. This is what's been handed to me—now I'm gonna have to make something awesome.”

Patrick Wolf released his first E.P. at the age of 19, a groundbreaking debut of classical, folk, and electronic music that set the pace for a stellar decade, releasing seven self-produced and solely written albums and performing multiple laps around the globe on tour, amassing an ever-growing and dedicated, spellbound audience. A viola, piano, dulcimer, harp, lyre, and tenor guitar player, Patrick’s decade of critically acclaimed work, touring, joining Patti Smith's band, collaborations with Florence Welch, Marianne Faithful, Angelo Badalamenti, and rapid, stellar ascent led to a sudden retreat from the industry where a decade of personal trial ended with a renaissance and reconnection with his work and vocation, documented in a feature film biopic documentary slated for release at the end of this year, executive produced by Tilda Swinton. Last year, he released his seventh album “Crying the Neck”, an end-of-summer folkloric odyssey set in the landscape at the end of the East of England where Wolf lives and works. The album’s success brought him back to his North American audiences; for his first tour in over 13 years, he embarked on a ten-week tour driving himself from east to west coast, where he discovered not only his fanbase had been waiting all that time, but a brand new one had grown in his absence in the States. The success of last year's tour brings Patrick back to North America this year with “The Tour of the Beast”, this time an extensive East to West coast and back again routing with a coinciding 7” single and release campaign, launching two new songs to the States and ringing in the next era of Patrick Wolf. The first, a bombastic harpsichord banger and outsider anthem “The Beast”, partly inspired by conversations had in the meet-and-greets of last year’s tour and a hymn of solace, initially written as a response to Camus's "The Myth of Sisyphus”, a lyre and vocal lullaby called “The Laughing Dove”.

Psycroptic - When the history of technical metal is viewed in years to come, the books will come to show that PSYCROPTIC are responsible for a hefty slice of the genre. The band blasted into the deepest underground in the late 90s, then proceeded to drag the metal scene closer to what they do by sheer attrition. Their music guides you through the densest of riff jungles before bursting into the clear with powerfully rhythmic grooves and blasts, anchored by the profoundly talented Haley brothers.Tasmania couldn’t contain them and as it turned out, neither could Australia. Their first overseas tour was Europe in 2004. It also introduced them to touring the US with their first happening in 2010. This pushed their lust for the road to new levels, smashing audiences and stupefying musicians around the planet. They’re unique among death metal bands in that it’s almost pointless to try and list the festivals and countries they’ve visited, let alone the bands they’ve played with. And there is no slowing down. As of late 2024, PSYCROPTIC are recording a new album and are booked in for a massive US tour in January 2025 with NILE and SIX FEET UNDER. PSYCROPTIC are no longer the local Australian band made good: they are a global powerhouse with a footprint the size of the world, nothing left to prove, and an endless commitment to finding ways to rock you as hard as technically possible.https://psycroptic.bandcamp.com/musicInferi - Inferi is an American melodic death metal band forged from the bowels of Nashville, Tennessee.
Formed in late 2015, mr.phylzzz (pronounced mr. flyzzz) has spent the last decade mutating, evolving, and cementing their reputation as one of the most blistering, uncompromising forces in modern noise rock. What began as a raw, multi-instrumental project has sharpened into a lean, mean, two-piece wall of sound consisting of Clinton Jacob (guitar/vocals) and Danny Sein (drums). Now anchored in the gritty musical landscape of Chicago, the duo crafts a chaotic, high-velocity sonic assault that balances punishing, heavy riffs with an undeniable knack for twisted, melodic hooks. The band’s rapid, jagged trajectory quickly caught the ear of Tom Hazelmyer, founder of the legendary underground imprint Amphetamine Reptile Records (AmRep). A badge of honor for any band pushing the boundaries of aggressive music, mr.phylzzz made their label debut on the prestigious Dope Guns ’N Fucking in the Streets Vol. 14 compilation. They followed that up with their first proper full-length album, Penitent Curtis, in 2019—a record that laid the groundwork for their signature blend of cranked amps, driving percussion, and volatile vocal delivery. When the pandemic brought the world to a standstill, the project underwent a metamorphosis. Operating in isolation, Jacob continued to write at a feverish pace. As restrictions lifted, a relocation to Chicago sparked a powerful new chemistry with the addition of drummer Danny Sein. The resulting synergy produced 2022's Cancel Culture Club, a critically acclaimed record that showcased a tighter, more furious version of the band. The album drew well-deserved attention from noise rock royalty, featuring guest appearances from the Melvins' King Buzzo and Kevin Rutmanis. Refusing to let off the gas, mr.phylzzz returned to the studio to track their next chapter, 2023's Fat Chance. Captured in a rapid-fire, four-day session at Chicago’s iconic Electrical Audio, the album perfectly bottles the raw, frantic energy of their live performances. The songs are dense, blown-out, and hyper-focused, earning praise across the underground for keeping the historic flame of midwestern noise rock burning bright. While their records are masterclasses in controlled chaos, the stage is where mr.phylzzz truly becomes a monster. Renowned for their furious, tight, and unpredictable live sets, the band spent a grueling autumn tearing across North America as the main opening act for the monumental Melvins and Boris "Twins of Evil" tour. Playing to packed rooms and massive crowds night after night, the duo proved that two people can create an atmosphere just as heavy, loud, and mesmerizing as a five-piece band. Today, mr.phylzzz remains a relentless touring machine and a staple of the underground circuit, constantly writing, traveling, and pushing their gear to the absolute limit. They are modern torchbearers of heavy music—chaotic, cathartic, and entirely on their own terms.

Improvement Movement, the social betterment campaign/prog-rock quartet/non-denominational cult from Atlanta, GA, have made a new record just for you and your modern day malaise. It’s called Your Perfect Real Life, because, well, there’s a lot going right these days, right? Arriving August 21, 2026 via ATO Records, Your Perfect Real Life is prismatic, angular, jumpy, and eccentric. It’s sure to inundate your ears, corporeal form, and spiritual body with equal parts unadulterated bliss and realist catharsis, or, in other words, as much good as you can reasonably feel these days. Set in a world of chaos where the news seems to be perpetually recounting stories of planes falling out of the sky, urban wildfires, the uncanny nature of a southern snowfall, and schlepping ads that feel plucked from a sci-fi movie, Your Perfect Real Life makes an earnest case for embracing life’s relentless unpredictability. Animated by the band’s baroque take on the angular harmonies of grunge, the record’s eleven tracks sprawl and simmer, enlivened by the Improvement Movement’s novel employment of dynamics, sticky melodies, four-part harmony, and a treasure trove of experimental instruments. If you’ve ever found yourself enraptured by the lush harmonies of Fleet Foxes, the theatrics of early Genesis tracks, or the candid intimacy of Art Garfunkel, Improvement Movement may be for you. Improvement Movement is a democracy, and so they say, “things move slow.” That may be true for the internal machinations of the band, but their output has been quite regular. Each member of the band, who have largely been eschewing definition, are songwriters and instrumentalists who have spent the better part of a decade in the fertile DIY scene in Atlanta, GA. In that time they’ve been swirling, relatively undisrupted, in their own primordial ooze and rubbing elbows with folks from the no wave, punk, improv, and free jazz scenes. “Atlanta is about as DIY as it gets,” they say. “We’ve got some of the most killing musicians in the world all spread out on these kinds of islands of urbanization. There’s always something new.” That said, the band hasn’t been in Atlanta much lately; they were on the road relentlessly over the last two years, supporting Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Iron & Wine, Houndmouth, and Khurangbin. When it came to making a new record, the slog of touring had to be reckoned with. “It was a gauntlet, trying to live day by day. There was no room for anything with too much premeditation.” “We all have a disposition where we’d like to be positive,” they say, noting how their 2024 sophomore pursuit Slump focused in on the minutiae of personal friendships, relationships, and the noble pursuit of right relation. Your Perfect Real Life takes a wider view, reflecting on timely yet universal themes of mundanity, futility, fear, and acceptance. The band took a uniquely holistic approach to composing its songs, describing how they sought to write from their instruments in a way that could reflect the synergy they found playing live night after night. The collective effervescence of sharing and making art in community is one of the most life-affirming experiences we have. It makes sense that a band set on bridging our brutal realities and the catharsis of art-making is so plugged into that source. With Improvement Movement in our ears, we may as well keep pushing that rock up the hill, singing in unison. Don’t delay, join today!

Hot Freaks formed in Minneapolis in the early 2010s, releasing their self-titled debut LP in 2013—a collection of bright, danceable indie-pop tracks with a glossy disco sheen and disarmingly vulnerable lyrics. Blending the emotional openness of of Montreal and Voxtrot with flashes of MGMT’s playful charisma, the record captured the band’s tight-knit chemistry and earned them a loyal following in the Minneapolis scene. Though they rarely toured beyond the Midwest, the group—made up of longtime friends whose relationships stretched back over a decade—became a beloved local staple before amicably disbanding in 2015 as members moved on to new chapters. Years later, the internet gave Hot Freaks a second life. During the pandemic, their 2013 single “PUPPY PRINCESS” unexpectedly went viral on TikTok, introducing the band’s heartfelt, humor-tinged indie pop to a new global audience. What began as nostalgia among friends quickly turned into a full reunion as fans discovered the band’s earnest songwriting and infectious energy. Now reconnecting with listeners around the world, Hot Freaks are stepping back onto the stage with renewed momentum—releasing rare material, debuting new visuals, and turning a handful of hometown reunion shows into the start of a much bigger return.

Blending razor-edged aggression with an eerie atmosphere, VOID stands at the crossroads of classic thrash intensity and dark, theatrical heavy metal. The band made its first major statement with their debut album Horrors of Reality in early 2023. The record introduced VOID’s uncompromising sound—fast, intricate riffing, commanding vocals, and a sinister edge—and was followed by a relentless stretch of touring that hardened the band on the road and built a growing underground following. That momentum led to VOID racking their first record deal, and the band then focused their efforts on crafting their most ambitious work to date: Forbidden Morals, a full-length concept album centered on a lost traveler’s descent into the castle of Vlad the Impaler. Dark, cinematic, and technically ferocious, the album marked a turning point for the band—putting VOID firmly on the map and opening the door to larger tours and wider recognition. Following the release of Forbidden Morals, VOID signed with Metal Blade Records to further carve their path in stone as one of the most compelling new voices in modern traditional metal.https://voidthrash.bandcamp.com/Phantom (Phantom G.D.L) is a young band from Guadalajara, Mexico, that has quickly established itself as one of the most solid and promising acts in Latin American metal.
“This whole album is almost like my fight against loneliness,” says Nicole Atkins of her latest release, Drama. “A lot of the songs came out of the fact that my husband and I basically have a long distance relationship. We're both on the road. He's a tour manager. I'm an artist. We can be apart for months at a time.” Those feelings of isolation and separation, complicated by sleep problems and some career uncertainty, left Atkins feeling overwhelmed at times. “I had to write myself through a lot.” As the material started to take shape, she felt like she was “building a life raft,” and not only for herself. “With everything going on in the world, it's easy to forget that we're all the same,” she says. “We're being disconnected and pulled apart. We're longing for connection. That's what I want to write and sing about, and hopefully by doing that, make people feel a little less lonely.” The life rafts on Drama are sturdy, with smart design and a buoyancy that's a tonic for our times. The Spectorized girl group rush of “Trippin' On Teardrops,” the pulsing Memphis soul-styled “For No One,” the James Bond-meets-Stevie Nicks noir of “Danny,” and the ABBA-worthy, anthemic “Singing In The Mirror.” As always when dissecting Atkins' neo-classic sound, it's fun to play with mash-up descriptions – even she offers her own colorful takes - “What if Brian Eno, Scott Walker and Lee Hazlewood were all partying?” and “It's like a Broadway show playing on a dive bar stage." Her journey began in Neptune City, New Jersey, where she developed her taste and sensibility early. “There's a poetic isolation at the Jersey shore,” she says. “All the tourists leave, and you're stuck with this really gloomy, but beautiful place, and nothing to do. Also, there were all these summertime musicians who'd play every night on the beach. I grew up thinking that was a normal job.” Raiding the record collections of her parents and grandparents drew her to dramatic singers from Candi Staton to Roy Orbison. When she found an old acoustic guitar in the attic of her uncle's house, her course was set. “Actually, I either wanted to be a rock star or a professional wrestler,” Atkins says, with a laugh. It had been six years since her last, Italian Ice, and Atkins admits she had some self-doubt. Enter another Nashville pal, Patrick Sansone. The producer and Wilco multi-instrumentalist proved to be the perfect foil for Drama. “Pat knows so much about that chamber pop style of music, and that's my North Star and home base,” Atkins says. “I write like I write - sometimes it sounds '80s, sometimes it sounds '60s, sometimes it sounds '50s. And Pat always gets it. He was able to help me sprinkle that baroque sound throughout the whole record, so it all made sense together.” And as on previous albums, she ups the ante by aiming to “write modern songs that could be part of the Great American Songbook.” But in her own way. “I'm not trying to rehash or celebrate some bygone era,” she says. “I'm just taking what I like melodically from the past, and channeling it into my songs. I like to make them deeply personal. The question I come back to is - how do I make this sound exactly like me?” Drama sounds exactly like Nicole Atkins.

For nearly two decades, Fruition have built their genre-bending version of American roots music around harmony — not just the vocal interplay of the band’s three songwriters, but the deeper harmony created between five friends who’ve spent years on the road together. On their eighth album, Something More, those bonds grow into something more collaborative than ever before. Produced by Grammy winner Tucker Martine, Something More finds Fruition stepping into an era defined as much by exploration as craft. Fueled by melody-driven songwriting, analog tones, and atmospheric textures, the album expands the band’s melting pot of rock, folk, pop, soul, and Americana into something more expansive and fully realized. Much of the songwriting emerged from collaborative sessions between Jay Cobb Anderson, Kellen Asebroek, and Mimi Naja, adding a shared perspective to songs rooted in reflection, uncertainty, acceptance, and growth. “This record is us trusting each other more than we ever have — as humans and as musicians,” says Anderson. “It’s the sound of us leaning into each other.” From the street corners of the Pacific Northwest to stages like Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Great American Music Hall, Fruition have grown their career night by night and song by song. Something More feels like the next chapter: a collection of lessons absorbed, trust deepened, and a band fully embracing what they’ve become.

A whirlwind of dexterous limbs and digits, this super star sonic showman has to be seen to be believed. Clad in his cannonball man, extra tight jumpsuit and signature motorcycle helmet with telephone/microphone attached, Bob Log III unfailingly sweats up a river while kicking on a kick drum, stomping his homemade foot cymbal and playing slide on an old archtop guitar. His endless pursuit for musical mayhem and a downright party has seen his unique talents utilized for children’s birthday parties, obscure beer barns, mammoth music festivals and everything in between. Yet, beyond these mesmerizing visuals, lies the true reason for Bob Log’s international cult status and superhero adoration. It is quite simply the guitar playing - finger picked lightning, sliding up and down, stopping when it wants to, then starting again when it feels like it, all in a way that makes people move uncontrollably, smile and reel. Excerpts from an unpublished journal – The Adventures of Bob Log III and His Faithful Guitar, by The Guitar: Chapter 39 HELP! 162 shows this year! 30 Countries!
We like to believe our lives can be shaped into stories—clean arcs, legible meaning—but life refuses the outline. Instead, it moves bluntly and without apology, indifferent to our sense of order. Events pile up without resolution, momentum divorced from direction, motion confused for progress. Sometimes the only refuge left is the nowhere of our own minds. El Ten Eleven’s Nowhere Faster, the duo’s 16th release, was forged within that unease. Across eight tracks, it considers not just nothingness but velocity—the strange urgency that propels us forward even when the destination remains unclear. We are committed to acceleration, convinced speed itself might save us. The 33-minute album slows just long enough to pose the harder questions: what are we running from, and what do we think we can outrun? That tension appears even in the album’s artwork, once again created with longtime collaborator Rob Fleming. It depicts a classic liminal space: familiar, anonymous, quietly unsettling. A stained glass-colored building and a streetlamp blur at the edges, suggesting motion that feels less like escape than enclosure—the kind that traps rather than transports. Nowhere Faster emerged from Kristian Dunn and Tim Fogarty’s longest break from touring and recording in their 23 years together, though “break” is something of a misnomer. Dunn’s famously restless creative pace never slowed. Instead, he began writing for not one but two drummers, handing Fogarty one of the most demanding challenges of his career. The record also marks a first for the band, weaving real strings and piano throughout, deepening the palette of what is already one of their most layered works. The album’s titles and sounds draw from moments scattered across the band’s 23-year history. Opener “Uncanny Valley Girl” marks the return of long-retired effects like the delay pedal, stacking basslines into a dense, enveloping wall. It’s a clear-eyed take on AI-era paranoia, anchored by Fogarty’s steady rhythm—snare taut, cymbals gently alive—giving the sci-fi unease something solid to lean on. “Bjork’s Alarm Clock,” meanwhile, takes its title from an insult hurled at the band by a guitarist of a punk band on their first tour; you can almost hear Dunn and Fogarty’s quiet laughter beneath the buoyant bass and bow-scratched strings. Still, Nowhere Faster is not a retreat into nostalgia. El Ten Eleven remains invested in risk and reinvention. The record continues to center Fogarty’s propulsive drumming and Dunn’s bass-driven experimentation: the first four tracks (“side A”) feature electric bass, while the latter half (“side B”) shifts to acoustic bass processed through pedals, subtly altering the album’s emotional weight. “Last Night In The Kitchen” reaches for the slick, sleazy bombast of classic Bond themes, opening new corridors for Dunn’s ever-expanding musical ambitions. Ultimately, Nowhere Faster is an album about reckoning—about time, endurance, and the uncertainty of how long a band, or a life, can last. We are all fumbling toward finitude. The question is not whether we’ll arrive, but what we want to hear on the way there. What will we dance to as the ground begins to shift beneath us? If nothing else, it may sound something like Nowhere Faster.

Across their first five studio albums, the duo established their trademark sound of twangy indie rock, 2000s-inspired pop-country, and emotional acoustic ballads with strong pop sensibilities. Their last two records saw them processing life’s most intense emotions more openly than ever before, from declarations of love in its many forms on 2021’s True Love, to grappling with loss and personal change on their latest self-titled album, Hovvdy. But the songs of Big World have them trading in overt emotional directness for subject matter that leans enigmatic, contemplating their place in the world through a mosaic of songs that sees the band at their most secure and self-aware.

Originally titled the Acid Mothers Temple & The Melting Paraiso UFO, the music group is a soul-collective and encompasses musicians, dancers, artists, farmers, channellers, ex-yakuza, mermaid researchers and professional vagrants, the collective has always had at its core a dedication to improvised music. Now with a history of over two decades, and a discography of over one hundred releases (which is not to mention the numerous solo and side-project releases which encompass everything from drone, acid-folk, acapella, to minimalist composition) the group show no signs of relenting in the pace of their creative energy!https://acidmotherstemples.bandcamp.com/Magick Potion - loud psychedelic acid rock from Baltimore, MDhttps://magickpotionband.bandcamp.com/

JOHNNY MANCHILD “There’s a mad genius living in Oklahoma City who possesses the manic drive of a classical composer”… “A creative tour de force”… “Theater kids and pop-punk aficionados, gather ‘round.” Since 2016, Johnny Manchild has led an ever-evolving lineup, affectionately dubbed the Poor Bastards, in the pursuit of conveying the noise in his head. A noise that gets louder everyday, and is never quite the same with each iteration. Amassing over 400,000 listeners over the last decade, collaborating with Adrian Young and Todd Foreman of No Doubt and Sublime respectively, performing alongside the Dresden Dolls, and independently assembling a 48 show, six week tour of house shows for over 3000 ravenous attendees (hosted by equally ravenous fans themselves), Johnny Manchild has broken down every conventional method in this pursuit of creating and exposing his music. With five albums under his belt, and his new self-produced album, “Side Effects” slated for 2026, Johnny Manchild has shown no sides of resting until the noise subsides; though the odds of that happening anytime soon are growing smaller everyday. FRIEND OF A FRIEND Friend of a Friend formed in the summer of 2020 after a lifetime just missing each other. Since their 2022 debut release, they’ve toured relentlessly throughout Europe and North America. FOAF has released 3 records in the last 3 years, been featured in SPIN Magazine, named an artist to watch by Rolling Stone, an “American Visionary Duo” by Mesmerized, an “indie rock band taking the scene by storm" by Wonderland Magazine. KARMA AND THE KILLJOYS Karma and the Killjoys is classical piano turned rock band. Loud key-smashing chords dueling with gritty electric guitar, powerful, raw female voices and a thick chorus of harmonies is the strange and compelling concoction the band calls piano-rock. Ever pushing the bounds of what that means, Karma and the Killjoys expand their musicality with every song, both embracing and defying the genre–and therefore defining it. Karma and the Killjoys is Rain Scott-Catoire (piano, vocals, songwriting), Sydni Myers (vocals, songwriting), Thomas Vercher (drums), and Tim Marchand (guitar).
