“BEACHMONT”, is the latest project from Berklee College of Music alumn, Josh Polack (former frontman of eclectic rock band “Mom Rock”). Coming off the tail of US tours and festivals, agent deals, Rolling Stone features, and millions of streams, Polack is getting back to the heart. “BEACHMONT” was born out of a hospital bed, in the depths of depression, anxiety, and loss. It’s the dream of the rainbow after the hurricane – the light at the end of what feels like perpetual tunnel of dark. The project is written and produced by Polack and close friends straight from his childhood bedroom – inspired by the soundtracks of indie coming of age movies, pinball arcades, and 80s roller rinks (Bleachers, Bruce Springsteen, Modern English, The Cranberries, etc.). Think letterman jackets and blue jeans, Twin Reverbs, Juno 6s, and 12 string guitars mixed with a longing for the past and hope for the future. “BEACHMONT” has already racked up over 50k streams since the first release in January 2023 with plenty more on the way this year. Coming out swinging – this is “BEACHMONT”.
