Chicago’s HIDE are a force to be reckoned with, releasing a steady output of unrelenting and dark electronics over the past four years. The industrial duo’s first full length album is slated for release this spring on Dais Records and follows their politically charged ‘Black Flame’ EP released early 2017. The band have toured the US extensively, playing everywhere from DIY house shows to large venues in support of Marilyn Manson. HIDE also extend their creativity and passion into audio/visual art installations and the production of short films.
Nebraska’s elusive Leather Band, PLACK BLAGUE, has been on a rampant path of sex, destruction and electronic leather mayhem for over a decade. Performing nationally from large theaters and dive bars, to art galleries, dingy basements, and even children’s television shows, the leather-clad masked monstrosity continues to attract and confuse audiences varying from dance party club kids to heavy metal beer guzzlers. PLACK BLAGUE’s sound emits a vile combination of primitive Industrial noise, sadistic Body Music, and throbbing dance beat party vibes. The live performance is a “must see” spectacle of homoerotic Leathersexual delusions of grandeur mixed with muscle flexing tantrums of harsh noise and electronic disco. Plack Blague was recently featured in Out Magazine, which also premiered the latest music video for Just Another Man of the Street. The summer of 2017 also brought a brand new album Blague called Night Trax, which was released by the NYC hip hop/Noise label Ormolycka. Recent opening slots for Adult., Psychic TV, Limp Wrist and Powerman 5000 were all sold out shows and brought Plack Blague to a new level of leather!
